Crystal Clear Voice Lines

ISDN provides your business with exeptional call quality. ISDN 2e is the right way to go when your business needs between 2 and 6 Voice Telephone Lines. If you need 8 or more Voice Telephone Lines then ISDN 30e is required.

Direct Dial in Numbers (DDI)

A range of DDI numbers will allow you to allocate a unique telephone number to each member of staff. The amount of DDI numbers you can allocate to an ISDN 2 circuit is more or less limitless.

Using ISDN Telephone Lines to run Multiple Companies

One of the most useful functions of ISDN is the ability to run multiple businesses through a single Telephone System.

In conjunction with our Panasonic and BT Versatility Telephone Systems, you are able to assign a DDI Number to one of your companies and then program the Telephone System to display that company name on the telephone display. This could essentially allow you to run many businesses out of the same location by simply assigning a different Telephone Number to each company. This is a very cost effective and efficient way of managing Telephone Line costs.

Caller Identity

Caller Identity is an important feature compatible with ISDN 2 and ISDN 30. Caller ID will provide you with the incoming caller's number (as long as the caller is not witholding their number). Caller ID (normally referred to as CLIP) which is what you need to order with your ISDN 2 connection. Telephone Engineer always order this feature as standard with our ISDN Telephone Line Installations.

ISDN 30e Information

ISDN 30 is always surveyed and pre-installed by BT Openreach. When you are ready to bring the ISDN 30 into service we will contact BT Openreach ensuring it can be provided with a degree of control. ISDN 30 is either delivered on copper wire or fibre optic cable depending on your location. Note there are distance limitations with ISDN 30 so premises in rural areas may really struggle to get it installed.

ISDN 2 on the other hand is not surveyed on site. The appointment is booked and subject to the order completing successfully, BT Openreach Engineers will attend to commission the lines.

Note all ISDN Services have limitations on the number of numbers. There are 5 number slots available and a slot can be taken by a single number or a range of numbers. A range of numbers has a minimum of 10 numbers and needs to continue in multiples of 10. There are however, almost no limitations to how many DDI numbers you can apply to your ISDN service.

Please Note : Broadband is not compatible with ISDN 2e or ISDN 30e and requires a Single Analogue Line
